During this weekend Benidorm Tourism Foundation participates in two important fairs of national character and at the same time it carries out a press trip with an important Spanish travel portal specialized in trips for couples.
First, Visit Benidorm participates in the first edition of Madrid Travel Fair organized by Globalia Tour Operator.
It is a fair that is characterized by offering both the possibility of acquiring a complete tourist package and receiving the direct information and on the spot of the destination where visitors wants to spend their vacations. For this reason, the Foundation has decided to continue betting on this fair format and will be present during the weekend with its own stand and offering information to visitors in order to publicize the offer of Benidorm.
This event aspires to be a world reference meeting between tourists and companies and become an inescapable event for the sector. This type of format of direct sales in fairs is being a success in other countries like Portugal where year after year they exceed their number of visitors.
Secondly, Visit Benidorm is also present this weekend in Bilbao where the International Tourism Fair Expovacaciones is held. The mentioned fair is the main event of the sector in the North of Spain and this year marks its 38th edition. Directed to the general public, it will meet more than 350 companies in the tourism sector and will be represented multitudes of national and international destinations.
Following the interest that Benidorm generated in the last edition, Benidorm Tourism Foundation has decided to return to participate in this fair, located in the stand of the Valencian Community and putting in value the demanded sun and beach, as well as complementary products such as theme parks, gastronomy, water sports, golf or nature parks.
Benidorm is a destination highly demanded by the Basque population, who aside from choosing the city to spend a few days of rest, many have their own residence, spending long stays in Benidorm.
