Benidorm premieres Rock Forever Festival with Sober, Narco, Sinaia on June 10

30 March 2017
Benidorm estrena el Rock Forever Festival con Sober, Narco, Sinaia el próximo 10 de junio

Provincial and local bands complete the poster of the event with sound 'metal', to be held in the auditorium Julio Iglesias in l'Aigüera Park

Benidorm will premiere next June the Rock Forever Festival, a rock and metal music event that will feature Sober, Narco and Sinaia as headliners and in which will participate nine other bands, mostly local and provincial. The councilor for Events, José Ramón González de Zárate, has presented this Thursday Rock Forever Festival accompanied by the two promoters, David Olea and Maria Dubleva.

The festival will take place on Saturday 10 June in the auditorium Julio Iglesias in l'Aigüera Park, between 12.30 and 02.00 hours. Subsequently, the activity will move to different establishments of rock music in the city.

De Zárate has pointed out that Rock Forever is "a project that we liked since we met it" because, in addition to diversifying the musical style of the city's festivals, it is "an opportunity to introduce groups in from the area" and also to "promote" in different points of Spain "the name of Benidorm" and its "bet on events". A promotion and repercussion that are already being felt in social networks.

The promoter of Rock Forever explained that the event was created to "promote local, provincial and national bands" placing them in the same stage as powerful groups that are "in full promotion" of their latest albums, as in the case of Sober and its 'Vulcano'. Olea added that "the selection of bands has been very meticulous for the event to be spectacular," and thanked the City Council "the support" they are giving to this festival.

In addition to the concerts, the organization outlines complementary activities such as an exhibition of old cars or a handicraft market in the same park of l'Aigüera.

Tickets for the festival are now available at a price of 25 euros through www.ticketea.com and at different places in Benidorm such as the Triangular Plaza kiosk, the Bourbons Bar and Benidorm Excursions - both in Gerona Street -. It can also be purchased in other places in the province as Travel Miau of San Vicente del Raspeig or Tatto Monster in Elche.

The councilor for Events has ensured that "this Rock Festival is expected to be the first of many."
