The free activity of Juan Gil-Albert Institute will depart from Boca del Calvari at 9 a.m. and will pass along the entire Paseo de Poniente to Tossal de La Cala

Juan Gil-Albert Alicante Institute has organised an activity called the "Cultural Kilometre" in Benidorm next Saturday, in collaboration with the Department of Historical and Cultural Heritage. The initiative aims to "unite culture with sport" and, at the same time ", highlight the city's most important landmarks," explained Councillor Ana Pellicer.

The activity, which was held for the first time in Crevillente, will depart from the Boca del Calvari Museum at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and from there will head to the Paseo de Poniente, stopping at urban art spaces and the Hung Yi swan sculpture, where a discussion about the exhibitions of large sculptures made in Benidorm will be offered. The final stop will be in La Cala, where attendees will be given a discussion about the history of Tossal de La Cala and the Roman fortification for those who wish to climb it.
