SM la Nova offers its traditional Santa Cecilia concert this Saturday at 5 pm at the Cultural Center
L’Illa Sociedad Musical will do so on December 13th and Unión Musical on the 20th of that month, both at 7 pm
Sociedad Musical La Nova de Benidorm will offer its traditional Saint Cecilia's Day concert next Saturday, November 29th, in the auditorium of the city's Cultural Centre. The concert will begin at 5:00 PM, and admission is free until the venue reaches capacity. As is customary, the concert will include a welcome for new musicians joining the Societat.
The city's other two bands will also offer concerts in honour of the patron saint of music. Sociedad Musical L’Illa will perform on December 13th at 7:00 PM in the Cultural Centre. The final concert will be given by Banda Sinfónica de la Unión Musical de Benidorm, which will take place on December 20th, also at 7:00 PM. These two concerts will also be free until the auditorium reaches capacity.
The Councillor for Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez, has encouraged all music lovers "to attend these three concerts and enjoy some pleasant evenings." He also highlighted the success these events usually have, "with the auditorium consistently filled."
