Benidorm to join nationwide rallies in support of Ceuta on September 2
The call, led by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), will take place at 8 p.m. at Plaza de Sus Majestades los Reyes de España
Under the slogan ‘Benidorm with Ceuta’, Benidorm Town Council has announced that it will join the call issued by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) for Wednesday, September 2, in towns and cities across the country. The rally will take place at 8 p.m. at Plaza de Sus Majestades los Reyes de España.
The FEMP has called for rallies to be held outside town halls across Spain as a show of support and solidarity with the autonomous city of Ceuta and its residents. The call has been addressed to Spain’s 8,132 municipalities, to ensure that local government collectively and in a coordinated manner expresses its support for Ceuta in response to the situation it is facing.
The Federation has shared a message on its social media channels for all Spanish municipalities to disseminate: “May Ceuta continue to be an example of coexistence, unity and confidence in the future. All the affection and recognition of Spain’s local governments.”
