'Mirada Circular’ comes to Benidorm to show beachgoers where our waste goes and how it is recycled
On Tuesday 11 August, the programme will at the Poniente Beach Library in the morning, and on 18 August, it will move to Levante Beach Library
The environmental education programme ‘Mirada Circular’ is returning to Benidorm this summer to inform beachgoers about where the waste we generate ends up and how it is recycled. During the activity, environmental educators explain the recovery cycle of different types of waste, teaching participants the key principles of waste separation and selective collection.
The programme, promoted by the Generalitat Valenciana in partnership with Ecoembes, Ecovidrio and Sigre, and supported by Benidorm Town Council’s departments of Environment and Beaches, will be at Poniente Beach Library next Tuesday 11 August, from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. A week later, on 18 August, it will take place at Levante Beach Library, at the same time.
